The NJAT offers lots of ways for students to “learn and live” Students volunteer on campus, in the community, and even overseas. Participation in traditional community service opportunities such as Milal Missions; leveraging environmental stewardship and sustainability practices to make a positive impact; engaging in diverse service-based programs, and gaining an academic understanding of global service through various programs offered here at our school. At NJAT, Discere et Vivere is more than just our motto, it is a way of life.

Our mission at NJAT is to create a learning environment that recognizes the individual and is comprehensive in scope. Students are involved in collaborative learning and mastery-based learning strategies. NJAT, a college preparatory school, provides a broad-based curriculum in the four major academic subjects and encourages students to learn about the arts throughout their time at the school.
Discussions, experiments, papers, and presentations are some of the ways in which we learn in our classes. Our faculty members are all dedicated to helping our students succeed by helping them acquire the skills necessary for critical thinking that will serve them well now and in the future. As part of our commitment to provide our students with a dynamic education, our curriculum is continually reviewed. Since we want our graduates to be responsible, ethical, and involved citizens, we focus on educating the whole person. Creating an environment conducive to imagining the future and achieving goals is our ultimate goal.
